What Are Our Clients are Saying ?
Jodie is in a different place now
I'm in such a different place than when I started. The modules are easy to follow and I appreciated they were available in both audio and written format. The twice weekly group zoom calls were great opportunities to share with the group your wins and ask questions. Sarah is kind, knowledgeable, and compassionate coach that helps to guide and empower you on your vestibular journey."
“Thank you so much. This really changed my life.”

Terri overcame disrupting dizziness and is now working and traveling regularly.
"I found my vestibular physical therapist after determining that my 'normal' doctors were unable to find the source of my extreme 'dizziness' and feelings of unbalance. My life was becoming totally disrupted by something that seemed to be coming from my eyes and ears. This was very frightening to me. Initially, I could barely perform the prescribed exercises. With time, and extreme patience, knowledge, and teaching from my therapist, I was able to perform all the exercises and to begin to understand what was wrong with me. I have no doubt that the knowledge and expertise of my vestibular physical therapist is the thing that allowed me to have my life back."

Cathy is on her way to being fully dizzy free.
“I just wanted to say thank you so much for all your help with my dizzy issues. If it wasn’t for you and your program, I’d still be feeling awful and dizzy most of the time. But now I barely ever feel that way. Not 100% there yet, but I know I’m on my way to this being fully gone soon.”

Michelle was given hope for a normal life again.
“The thing that motivated me to sign up was I read a post from a lady that you helped get better and I thought nothing else has helped me and that you could possibly help me. I had had enough of living with vestibular migraine and PPPD. You gave me hope that I could have a normal life again. It has improved both my mindset and
my dizziness.”
Michelle J.
“Thank you for sharing your compassion, encouraging words, knowledge, and expertise. You have given me a great toolbox to manage my Vestibular Migraine”

Barb was able to conquer the daily ups and downs and is back to enjoying all her life has to offer.
"Vestibular rehab has helped me be able to navigate through life. Before rehab going into a big box store was so overwhelming that I would always break out into a sweat and be exhausted after leaving. Lowe's was my home away from home. Now with the skills I have learned from rehab I am able to be in the store more comfortably and for longer periods of time. I am also able to re-center my head on days that I have done too much turning or bending over which happens when I am in the kitchen for long periods of time. I keep my "head turning" exercises close at hand so I can get to them quickly. I've learned how to control my focus to keep better balance. I went zip lining in a cave in Louisville not too long ago and this skill helped me cross the rope bridges that I did not know were going to be part of this experience. Hiking can be tricky due to the uneven surfaces you walk on but my exercises during therapy have helped me be able to navigate through tree roots, holes and uneven rocks, I may not be as fearlessly as before, but I can still do it. I truly feel like I can continue to try just about anything I want to due to my vestibular rehab therapy.

“Vestibular therapy with Sarah helped me feel like myself again after struggling with persistent headaches, dizziness, and nausea after a concussion. I saw various doctors and neurologists before finding Sarah's practice, and I could not be more thankful that I found her, and wish I had sooner! I was having difficulty just getting through the day. It was frightening to feel like I wasn't getting any answers or seeing any improvement. Sarah's clear expertise and thorough assessment of my condition were comforting. Slowly but surely I began to improve with her guidance. Finally being able to go to the grocery store without an onslaught of symptoms felt like the first major victory in my recovery, and after continuing my exercises I am finally able to do things like exercise, work on the computer, and live my life like normal again! Vestibular therapy was a game-changer in helping me get back to normal, and I am so glad that I learned it was an option! The telehealth appointments were convenient, flexible, and quite necessary when I first began, as driving to and from a physical office would have been difficult. Sarah is clearly an expert in her field, a pleasure to work with, and you can tell that she truly cares about her patients as whole people."

FAQS
We completely understand. It's very common (and frustrating) for someone with persistent dizziness to go to doctor after doctor, and try so many things to resolve the dizziness. The truth is that the solution has to be comprehensive and it has to address YOUR root causes. That is why, here at Sarah Conover and Assoc., we provide tailor-made individualized treatment and coaching. You can be certain that we do not use a "one size fits all" approach. But we get right to figuring out what is going to be the best solution for YOU, and get you back to feeling like yourself.
You are NOT alone! Most people with persistent dizziness also have anxiety. That is why we hold as a priority to train the nervous system. And it is why Sarah has done advanced training in mental health, ACT/CBT, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, and neuroplasticity. You will learn tools for calming and rewiring so your system is not so sensitive. You learn how to replace anxious worried feelings with feelings of ease and being in control. This in turn will help reduce the dizziness you are experiencing. We have to break into the downward spiral in very comprehensive ways. We do this work throughout all our services.
Vestibular physical therapy is diagnostic and prescriptive. We follow a medical model. This means that we will communicate with your physicians, do a complete assessment, develop a functional diagnosis, and carry out an individualized treatment plan. This is recommended for anyone who has never had vestibular physical therapy and possibly does not have a diagnosis yet.
Coaching is where the greatest impact happens! This is for people who have done therapy and possibly other treatments and are still struggling with daily dizziness and stress, anxiety and worry. We cut through all of that. You will learn how to calm your nervous system, how to retrain your brain to not be so dizzy and progress through a plan to get you back to doing the things you love to do.
No. unless you have traditional Medicare, and are doing physical therapy, you do not need a referral.
Cost should not be a barrier for anyone, to the very best treatment and coaching. We believe that the value of feeling better, being healthier, and getting back to your job and normal daily activities is priceless. We have some of the most reasonable fees you will find. Once we know better what type of service would be best for you, we can discuss fees. Sarah provides frequent discounts and bonuses, so make sure ask about that!
